Our Vision - The White Horse Project works with young people aged 11 to 18 in Rossendale, to improve their life chances and enable them to play a full part in their local community.

Weekly activities
Open Band
Due to popular demand we have a new band slot - join us to practise with other musicians and develop teamwork and performance skills!
Art
Get creative through drawing, painting and sculpture. We get involved in community projects and explore art across our valley!
Social!
Hang out with friends, meet new people and enjoy a welcoming youth social. You can even play pool!
Former Newchurch Methodist
A welcoming venue for
the whole community.
The former Newchurch Methodist Church building is available for one-off events and regular meetings. It has hosted local organisations including Girlguiding, Hatha Yoga and Newville Chorus.

The White Horse Project is committed to the nurturing, protection and safekeeping of all who come into contact with our work, especially children and young people. We have a comprehensive safeguarding policy with robust processes in place to ensure that the people who join our organisation through employment or volunteering complete relevant safeguarding training and hold an enhanced DBS. Our designated safeguarding lead is trustee Rod Bevan.
